Remembering...

Never forget... A plume of smoke rises from the crash site of Flight 93 in Somerset County, PA.

My heart is heavy today as I remember September 11, 2001. As I was praying last night, I prayed for families of the thousands of lives that were lost that day, and I prayed a prayer of thanksgiving for the 20,000 that were ushered to safety by the FDNY, NYPD and others. And then I wondered how many lives were given to Christ that day. I wondered how many people cried out to Jesus in fear, anger, pain, hopelesness... How many were added to His kingdom that day?

I pray today that the families of the lost and of the survivors will find comfort and peace in the Lord. I pray for safety for our military that are still fighting today because of 9/11. I pray for their safe return and for peace for their families.

I pray for those that I know that have not yet come to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Life is short, it is unpredictable. We never know when our time is up. I want to rejoyce with my family and friends in heaven... what are you waiting for?
